Hey kids,
It's Canada's birthday so do yourself a favour and hug your favorite
|Canadian. MMMMmmmmmMMMM. :)
State Champs are playing today and if you're not able to attend one of
their three gigs (boy talk about overkill ;) ) then the least you can do
is order their extremely cool looking 7'' from daydream. Not that I have
anything to do with that stupid label...or Jim either. ;)
It's still rainy and gross here, thus proving that tara da costa and
friends are little rays of sunshine. come back, kids! :(
Also, I just got mail from one of my friends back home in Calgary and he
mentioned the fact his band will be \crossing our lovely country this
month so I'm gonna recommend them to you. Rosco Pecoe will be playing in
fine cities in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec. If you like
stuff like the Descendents, ALL (wait, isn't that redundant?), 7 seconds,
snfu, then you'd probably like rosco pecoe. So like check your local
listings and all that.
oh, and more sloan net \content. the funniest thing in the whole world
happened the other day. James, Shant, Roderick, and I were driving over
to Jim's house to put the state c\hamps' 7''s together and we were trying
to figure out if al tuck and the lo\cal rabbits were *really* playing the
oasis tonight or if it was still thundermug. So someone says "well,
what's al tuck doing?" and swear to god, right then Al walks across the
street in front of the car. Oh my god, it was funny. (I don't think any
of us have ever seen him in daylight.)
this town is way too small.
love,
the flakey bubbly girl from the prairies
