edgefest 2 and 3, sloan posters...

happy Canada day! (a little late, but what the hell)
   Well, I was at edgefest 2 yesterday...won't bore you with all the 
details, b/c it was one *long* day (never knew all-day concerts could 
take so much out of you :) )...
   treble charger were on first, and we got there just as they were 
setting up.  Now, I've never seen them live but of course I've heard 
how amazing they are, but their set was kind of sad...I mean, they 
were good and everything, and I enjoyed them, but the place was so 
damn huge and there was practically no one there yet, so the audience 
members who *had* shown up early were fairly apathetic towards the 
whole thing...but they played new stuff and old stuff and hey, I was 
happy.
   Aw, forget it, I don't feel like posting anymore about edgy f #2...
it was good, blah blah blah.  But they did announce that details for 
#3 were coming on I think Tuesday...and apparently there are going to 
be 28 bands playing, with Sloan headlining...they mentioned Glueleg, 
jale, 13 Engines, Killjoys...and Sloan.  Guess we'll be hearing more 
soon.   
    Shit, I really have to go...all this talk about Sloan posters and 
t's and stuff has made me wonder...where can I get myself a Sloan 
poster (can I?)  I'm reduced to hanging a magazine ad for Twice 
Removed up...
