hi :)

gee, it's hot out there!!!

anyways, in today's _toronto star_'s "what's on" section, there's a little
blurb regarding a hip hop showdown between Yet Another Posse and Hip Club
Groove.  here are two really interesting parts of the article:

"... It happened at the Rivoli during the hip hop showdown between Oshawa's
Yet Anoterh Posee and Montreal's Hip Club Groove."

HUH!?!?  Montreal, eh?  okaaaay...

".. Hip Club Groove's Corey Bowles and Derel MacKenzie from the cool operator
school, working only with the traditional DJ on turntable and samples, and
using more melody..."

no, derel is not a typo on my part.. that's how it's written in the article! 

as you can see, the lenny "club crawl" stoute doesn't quite know his east
coast hip hop...  someone tell hcg and have 'em kick him in da face ;)

oh, and anyone planning on seeing plumtree this sat.. they're on at
midnight.. $5 cover... have fun on my behalf.. :(
